That was so much fun watching with you! So many times when we were having the exact same thoughts 😂 I have the same thing go on watching him jumping and doing all of those splits. I want to tell him to stop so he would be with us longer, but then I realize that wouldn’t have been Prince. I also think it’s funny that he didn’t just move the crystal ball after nearly tripping over it. Nope, that was his vision, and he was going to nail it (even if it took a ton of takes) as he wanted it to be. Wouldn’t it be great if the estate put together a behind the scenes of the SOTT concert film with remastered footage and interviews?!?! Gotta mention the brilliance of LeRoy Bennett’s lighting. His mind and creativity along with Prince was magic. Looking forward to more 💜💜💜

That is so cool that you did another Dire Straits tune!!! That song was huge in the 80s and the “I want my MTV” line came from a slogan MTV used to market themselves. Different musicians at that time would say the line in the ads. The video was animated and super cool at the time. I haven’t seen this performance in ages. It was fun to see again. Those Live Aid shows were huge (as you can see from the audience at Wembley). The most famous performance is Queen. They brought the house down and Freddie Mercury had every single person in that crowd in the palm of his hand. I was 13 when it happened and loved watching it (probably on MTV). You should definitely check that Queen performance out if you haven’t seen it. I can get you the link if you want. Loved your reaction to this one!!!

Prince was an absolute dynomo. He mastered, and played several instruments, wrote & produced his own music, and was in top physical condition on stage. He truly did reach the top.
